Holiday Party Hostess Gifts

When I was a little girl and attended parties with my mom, she always carried  a gift for the host.  I kept this tradition with me to this day. The host or hostess always enjoy the gift and sometimes appear pleasantly surprised.  It doesn't have to be large or expensive, just something to show your appreciation for the invitation to there home.
